The Opolskie Voivodeship has the best investor service team in the country, once again recognized the Polish Investment and Trade Agency. Among others, training of employees of the Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre in OCRG, offers database, promotional materials, the number of serviced investor visits or cooperation with business environment institutions and local governments was rated.
The Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre (COIE), operating within the framework of the Opolskie Centre for Economy Development (OCRG), which is subordinate to the self-government of the Opolskie Voivodeship, was on the highest podium in the country together with Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Silesian Voivodeships.
The evaluation sheet, on the basis of which the special certification committee of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) assessed and scored the COIE in Opole, this time contained several sets of questions. Among them were questions about, for example, technical and organizational facilities (e.g. access to a car during investor visits); preparation for investor service (knowledge of languages among COIE employees, their training, the number of recently registered or updated investment offers in PAIH database; about materials promoting the region and its investment offer or training of local governments in investor service.
As part of the assessment, PAIH also asked COIE employees from OCRG about cooperation with local governments, the pace of updating investment offers, cooperation with business environment institutions (e.g. chambers of commerce, universities, scientific institutions), the number of investor inquiries serviced by IAC from 2017-2020, the number of Investors’ inquiries and the number of successful projects during that time.
