Opolskie Centre for Economy Development has participated in Automotive CEE Day trade fair on 28 – 29 March 2019, which took place in Exhibition and Congress Centre in Opole.
Automotive CEE Day is one of the most important B2B meetings in Central and Eastern Europe. The main advantage of the event, appreciated by the participants of previous editions, is a unique interactive platform for arranging B2B meetings between interested companies. Thanks to this, participants independently build a schedule of meetings and precisely select partners for conversations.
As in the previous edition, potential foreign investors were not only able to meet with suppliers from Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, but also got information about investment opportunities in the Opole region. The automotive industry is one of the most often investing in the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, which also covers half of the Opole region. So far, companies from the automotive industry have invested over PLN 15 billion here, thanks to which over 25,000 jobs were created.
