ACO Engineering team from Kędzierzyn-Koźle after a fierce battle won the 5th Football Tournament of the Opole companies for the Cup of the Marshal of the Opolskie Voivodeship, Andrzej Buła. The special guest of the tournament and the workshop was the legendary Polish national team coach, Antoni Piechniczek.
– I am happy when I see the enthusiasm, heart and willingness with which you play – said an extremely warm welcomed by the players and fans trainer Piechniczek. – You are probably all cheering, just like me, our representation. The past few years under Adam Nawałka have certainly not been lost. But this representation can be even better and even stronger if your children and grandchildren are also strong.
The tournament took place on September 15 at the MKS Kluczbork stadium. It was organized for the fifth time. It was attended by 21 teams issued by companies from Opole region (Weegree, Paul Schockemöhle Logistics, Stefanini, Narzędziownia Ewa Pszenica, FM Logistics, Packprofil, Diehl Controls, Piomar, Lesaffre, Neapco Europe, Górażdże Cement, Adamietz, Marcegaglia, ACO Engineering, Grupporeco ( Aro Tubi), Cementownia Odra, Kamet, Browar Namysłów, Hongbo Clean Energy Europe, ifm ecolink, Nutricia). Almost half of the companies competed for the first time in competition. The competitors were accompanied by their relatives, company colleagues and even bosses.
– For the host of an event like this, there is no greater satisfaction than the fact that there are so many guests – said the marshal of the Opolskie voivodeship, Andrzej Buła. – I am very happy that you like the tournament, that you want to stay with us, play and compete here. I am equally happy with the presence of your bosses, who strongly support their teams – added Andrzej Buła, referring to the presence of, for example, Paula and Mateusz Pszenica from Narzędziownia company, Rajmund Adamietz from the company Adamietz or Zihuan You from the company Hongbo Poland.
The tournament and workshops once again were organized by the Opolskie Centre For Economy Development (OCRG) subject to the self-government of the region. The Opole Chamber of Commerce was the substantive partner.
– We are very happy that these events are successful every year. Without a doubt, it is one of the events that perfectly integrate Opole’s business. No wonder that they have already entered our calendar permanently – commented Roland Wrzeciono, the OCRG director.
