New investment of Gniotpol in Malnia

The impressive production and assembly hall of Gniotpol Trailers from Malnia is visible from a long distance, especially for drivers passing the A4 motorway.

The formal commissioning of this new investment in the Municipality of Gogolin took place last Friday, September 14. Numerous partners and representatives of the business cooperation environment came to the ceremony, among others Opole Chamber of Commerce with its president Henryk Galwas, Opolskie Centre for Economy Development with director Roland Wrzeciono and local authorities of the Gogolin commune with the mayor Joachim Wojtala. The new hall was blessed by dean priest, Hubert Sklorz, parish priest of Malnia.

The President of the Board of Gniotpol Trailers from Malnia, Kazimierz Gniot and Vice-President Agata Duliniec do not hide their satisfaction with the completed investment and emphasize the ideal location close to the motorway and excellent cooperation with the local government of Gogolin were the main reasons for expansion in Malnia.

“In order to meet the growing challenges facing the market, from January 2017, we have merged the plant in Kurznie and the plant in Malnia, and since then we have been operating under one large company. But it was in Malnia that we decided to invest most of our capital expenditures, “admits Kazimierz Gniot and adds,” We currently employ over 200 specialists. But our plans are to employ another 50 employees, perhaps also increase the working time to two shifts. “

And it is precisely the increase in employment that the Mayor of Gogolin, Joachim Wojtala, most appreciates, he admits that the municipality’s self-government, like with all other investments, was a true partner from the very beginning. “We were aware that such a significant expansion of the plant will also be associated with a large investment on our part. We have managed to complete the task, a new, convenient access road leads to the new plant. What is important, the new road will soon give joy not only to employees and partners commuting to the GNIOTPOL TRAILERS plant, but also to the inhabitants of Malnia and Odrowąż,” says the mayor Joachim Wojtala.

In the new hall with a floor area of 2460 m2, there are 20 modern assembly stations for the production of truck body systems with sets of two-axle trailers and single axle trailers. The technologically advanced line will allow for an increase in production from the current 1000 items to 1,200 transport units per year. But that’s not the end. As promised by President Gniot at the plant in Malnia, a modern and specialized service centre for built-in trucks will also be launched, according to plans the largest in this part of Poland.
