“Land for medal” Competition, Edition 2018

The selection and promotion of areas comprehensively prepared for investment – this is the most important goal of the “Land for Medal” Competition. Its eighth edition is just launching!
The competition is organized every two years by the Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) in cooperation with the Marshal of the Opolskie Voivodeship and the Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre (COIE) operating within the framework of the Opolskie Centre for Economy Development.
Until June 4^th, starosts, presidents, mayors and commune heads may submit to the COIE in Opole areas – both communal and private – which in their opinion meet the criteria and deserve to be called “Land for medal”.
Submitted plots must be covered by the current zoning plan indicating production purpose. The surface area cannot be less than 2 hectares.
The best areas will be given priority when PAIH and the Investor and Exporter Assistance Centre point the location to potential investors and will be promoted internationally. In addition, the winners of the Contest will be able to present the “Land for Medal” logo on all promotional materials.
