Technika Recykling invests in Kędzierzyn-Koźle

Technika Recykling from Gliwice bought from Kędzierzyn-Koźle Industrial Park almost one hectare of land covered by the Katowice Special Economic Zone. A plant that will recycle black mass from zinc-carbon and alkaline batteries will be built on the plot. The technology was developed by scientists from the Institute of Non-ferrous Metals in Gliwice. The approximate size of the investment is PLN 11 million and the employment is about 20 people. The launch of production is planned for the third quarter of 2019.

PTH Technika Sp. z o.o. dealt earlier with commercial and publishing activities as well as creating and implementing software for civil status offices across the country. Later on, the area of ​​activity was expanded to recycling and processing of waste electrical and electronic equipment. As of July 1, 2009, an organized part of the enterprise dealing exclusively with IT activity has been separated under Technika IT S.A. and runs as an independent business. In 2014, PTH Technika Sp. z o.o. received a subsidy from PARP within the framework of the Large Voucher for the development of a new recycling technology. In February 2016, a new company Technika Recykling Sp. z o.o., has been established for the implementation of a technology project, which a year later received financial support from Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the implementation of the investment.
