The world leader in the production of chocolate and biscuits launched in Skarbimierz a highly advanced production line, which is not only state of the art but also one of the most innovative in Europe. Within eight hours it can produce 700 thousand bars.
The new line will manufacture products of renowned and highly popular brands such as Milka, Oreo, 3bit and Cadbury Dairy Milk and Terry’s Chocolate Orange. The investment is worth $ 30 million and will create 90 new jobs. Poland is a strategic location for Mondelez International which boasts seven factories, three categories of products and the prospects for further dynamic growth not only in the category of snacks but also in the spheres of research, quality and multifaceted development. The company also plans to open a global research and development center in Poland. Production line of the future in a chocolate factory in Skarbimierz is the first of this kind in Mondelez International production network in Poland and the second in Central Europe.
The line has been designed to increase the production capacity of the factory and simplify the production process itself. It enables the production of different types od products, with or without stuffing, on one line, without additional investment or retooling machines.
Comparing it to the building with blocks, you can add one block and produce chocolate bar with fillings or remove it and obtain the final product without any stuffing. It is also easier to repair the line in case of failure. With the new line the company can more quickly respond to marked demand. The plant in Skarbimierz runs for five years and is one of the most modern chocolate factories in Europe, employing approx 400 employees. The wide variety ot tidbits from Skarbimierz is aimed to meet expectations of both the Polish and foreign markets.
