Research work has been conducted by geologists since 2012. The mine was established on areas leased from the State Forests, which stretch between Otmice and Kamie\u0144 \u015al\u0105ski. The excavation can ultimately have up to 500 hectares. For now, Lhoist has taken up an area of about 100 hectares.
