The Polish Investment and Trade Agency S.A., in cooperation with the Marshall of the Opolskie Region and Regional Investor Assistance Centres, completed the first stage of the 8th edition of the National Contest “Land for Medal” 2018 promoting areas comprehensively prepared for production investments. The competition is organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Entrepreneurship and Technology.<\/p>\n

The aim of the competition is to select and promote the best areas for production investments, and as a result contribute to an increased inflow of investments to Poland.<\/p>\n

Representatives of Investor Assistance Centres among the submitted offers chose areas that went to the second stage of the competition. The competition will select one winning area in each region. The awarded plots will be promoted by PAIH among Polish and foreign investors interested in starting or expanding their business in Poland.<\/p>\n

  • 81 municipalities took part in the competition, which in total sent 103 offers.<\/li>\n
  • 65 plots, selected by the Investor Service Centres \u2013 PAIH Partners, were qualified for the second stage of the competition.<\/li>\n
  • Most offers were submitted from the following regions: Wielkopolskie, Mazowieckie and Kujawsko-Pomorskie.<\/li>\n
  • The lowest number of offers were sent from the following regions: Dolno\u015bl\u0105skie and Podlaskie.<\/li>\n
  • The most active (measured by the number of communes that joined the competition) were municipalities from the following regions: Wielkopolskie, Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Mazowieckie, and \u015al\u0105skie.<\/li>\n
  • A total of 64 new offers have been submitted to the competition, most from the following regions: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubuskie and Wielkopolskie.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
